Here we are at midseason!
And the division is shaping up just how this reporter predicted. Leading the division with a 59-37 record are the Cincinnati Reds. In a close second we have the Chicago Cubs at 51-45. That's about where the competitiveness of this league ends. There is a bitter battle for last place between longtime rival Brewers and Expos. The Expos are in the lead for that race (about the only race they'll be leading in this year) by one game with a record of 41-45.
Cincinnati Reds 59-37 .615 -
Chicago Cubs 51-45 .531 8.0
Milwaukee Brewers 42-54 .438 17.0
Montreal Expos 41-55 .427 18.0
We'll see you at the playoffs.
